1) Playing Shortstop, Ozzie Smith won 13 consecutive Gold Gloves as a member of the San Diego Padres and St. Louis Cardinals.

2) Along with playing outfield, Stan Musial played first base in 14 seasons for the St. Louis Cardinals.

3) D. The St. Louis Cardinals won the World Series in 1942, ’44, and ’46. The Cleveland Indians won the Fall Classic that year over the Boston Braves, four games to two.

4) Mark McGwire hit 220 career Home Runs as a Red Bird. His first coming on August 8th and last on October 4th.

5) Rickey Henderson holds the career steels record with 1,270.

6) The Cardinals won their first World Series in 1926 winning four games to three over the New York Yankees. Their share for winning was $5,584.51 per player.

I've been a lifelong Cards fan and enjoyed the trivia. I have to admit I wish they were multiple choice. The only two I knew instinctively were #5 and #8.

If you come up with more I will enjoy reading.
